TWO men have been arrested after a serious assault which left a victim with a broken arm and head injuries.
The incident happened outside a house in Tony Webb Close, Colchester, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police believe the victim, a 28 year old man, was beaten with a baseball bat.
It happened at about 2.45am and the man was taken straight to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
Two men have now been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent following the incident.
The men, aged 21 and 22, both from Colchester, are still in police custody.
