ANTI-KNIFE crime campaigners have organised a second annual march along Colchester’s High Street.
The parade will be led by Caroline Shearer, who set up charity Only Cowards Carry, after her son Jay,17, was stabbed to death in Colchester.
The march on May 24, at 11.30am, will start near the post office in Head Street and end at the war memorial near Castle Park at noon.
It has been set up to raise awareness of knife crime.
The first march, in May last year, saw hundreds of people take part.
Jay, of Aster Way, Clacton, died on September 8, 2012.
Edward Redman, 18, of Wayland Drive, Stanway, was sentenced to 17 years in prison on May 1, after being found guilty of his murder.
