ESSEX X-Factor favourites and chart-topping rappers are to share the stage in Colchester for a new music festival aimed at uniting the town.
Organisers of the I Am Music festival hope thousands of revellers will dance to performances by major acts in Lower Castle Park, while families enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and stalls around the castle itself.
Now, it has been revealed the line up will include Great Totham’s Sam Callahan, fellow former X-Factor contestants Union J and UK rapper Wiley.

They will join Brit indie rock band Scouting For Girls, big names including Chipmunk, Misha B and Rough Copy, and other local bands and musicians chosen from auditions in January.
