A TEENAGER who robbed a convenience store at knifepoint was caught after boasting about it to his school pals, a court heard.
The boy, aged 15, went into Martin’s, in Hunwicke Road, Colchester, before school and demanded cash from the male cashier.
He got £30, then demanded a packet of Hamlet cigars and a lighter.
Teachers at his school questioned him about the incident after his friends were heard talking about it.
