ESSEX school heads are to meet county highways officials for talks on the future of the county’s lollipop ladies.
The news comes after the Gazette reported last week school crossing patrols countywide could face the axe to save money at County Hall.
Rodney Bass, county councillor responsible for highways, has confirmed he is to meet schools whose pupils are protected by crossing patrols this this week.
