Colin Robinson, a phone analyst, checked Shannon Fenlon’s mobile as part of the investigation into the death of Jay Whiston.

Edward Redman is accused of stabbing Jay, 17, to death outside a house party in Marlowe Way, Colchester, on September 8, 2012.
