A woman had to be cut free from their car by firefighters after it overturned this morning.
Two crews from Halstead and two from Sudbury were called to the A131 in Bulmer, outside the Bulmer Fox pub at 8.20am today.
The female driver had become trapped after her blue Peugeot 206 had rolled onto its side and into a ditch.
Fire crews used specialist cutting equipment to free the casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
She is believed to have been taken to hospital as a precaution, an Essex Police spokesman said.
The road was clear by 9.30am.
