A COLCHESTER road was blocked this morning after two cars collided.
The incident, which involved a black Peugeot 307 and a red Hyundai Accent, happened in Berechurch Road, in Colchester, shortly after 6.45am.
One car crashed through a brick wall and another careered off the road into a ditch.
An Essex Police spokesman said both drivers were treated at the scene.
One patient was taken to hospital with a head injury. The other, who had a leg injury, did not need treatement.
He added: "Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision and any witnesses who have not already spoken to police are urged to get in touch."
