A CARP fishing expert will give a talk as part of a fundraising drive to help a little girl from Colchester communicate for the first time.
Taylor Smith, seven, suffers from Rett syndrome, a severe neurological disorder which means she is unable to walk or talk.
Her family are trying to raise £11,000 to buy her a Tobii, an eye movement-controlled computer.
To help them reach their total, Adam Penning will give a presentation at Foxash Community Hall, on Friday, February 28. After his speech, the club will host a party, including a raffle, to raise extra cash for the cause.
To buy a ticket, search Taylor’s fundraising page on Facebook and send a message to the group.
