URGENT action is needed to prevent more flooding in the future, a councillor has claimed.
Roger Lord, county councillor for Brightlingsea, has drawn up an 11-point plan of steps needed to protect against natural disaster.
The Ukip councillor says he hopes the plan will be taken up in part or whole and turned into policy by any party to make sure it is seen through.
