Essex County Standard: CCTV images have been released in connection with a late-night assault in Colchester.

Police want to speak to the three men after an assault in Barrack Street in the town at 11pm on Friday December 13. A 30-year-old man had been walking along the road when he was approached by a number of men. He was then punched and kicked leaving him with cuts and bruises to his face.

A 17-year-old man was arrested and cautioned for assault but police are continuing to investigate the incident.

Anyone who recognises any of the men in the CCTV images is asked to contact PC Daniel Morley in Colchester CID on 101 or on crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.Essex County Standard:
