Job Title: TRAINEE REPORTER
The Role:
The Braintree & Witham Times and Halstead Gazette, two weekly titles in north Essex, need a trainee reporter for the Braintree office.
Applicants must either have NCTJ pre-entry qualifications, or be awaiting results.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and a minimum 80 words per minute shorthand, with a requirement to reach 100 words within six months of starting the job.
The paper is part of Newsquest Essex, which publishes two daily papers and 12 weeklies. The company is committed to providing ongoing training and career development.
The Person:
Good organisational skills are essential to the role as is the ability to work well within a busy but vibrant team.
