A DRIVER was treated for shock after a two-car smash on the A12 this morning.
The accident happened on the Kelvedon bypass at 10am and involved an Audi A4 and a Ford Focus C-Max.
A police spokesman said: "One vehicle left the carriageway and the other came to rest on the central reservation.
"One driver was treated for shock but there were no injuries."
The accident caused delays but the road remained open.
The vehicles were removed by midday.
