STANWAY residents can have their say on what community facilities £500,000 should be spent on.
Colchester Council is hosting a series of consultation events at the Live and Let Live pub in Millers Lane, starting tomorrow. Developers behind the under-construction Lakelands estate have passed on £500,000 of contributions which can be spent on community improvements.
The events take place tomorrow from 11.30am, January 23 from 6pm, February 13 from 6pm and March 7 from 11.30am.
Residents can fill in a questionnaire asking whether Stanway needs more meeting rooms and play areas, or if a skate park or dog agility zone would be popular. The survey also includes maps featuring locations of community buildings and open spaces.
It is available online until March at colchester.gov.uk/stanwaycommunityconsultation
