A BRIGHTLINGSEA waste company has painted two of its trucks a fetching shade of pink to raise cash for charity.
Eastern Waste Disposal is doing it to highlight the fact it is fundraising this year for Cancer Research UK. One skip lorry and one tipper truck are now bright pink and emblazoned with the charity’s name.
The company, based on the Morse’s Lane industrial estate, will also make a donation to the charity for each job the lorries do. It chose Cancer Research UK because several staff and their relatives have survived or are battling cancer.
Over the past two years, the firm has sponsored a guide dog, Edward, who is now helping his owner to get around.
- Details of the company’s fundraising progress will be regularly posted on its website, and you can support the company’s efforts with a donation by calling it on 01206 307070
