Crews were called out to one incident during a two hour fire strike this morning.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union returned to work at 8.30am.
Resilience crews were in place across the county from 6.30am when the industrial action began.
There was a single reported incident during the strike when a woman became stuck in flood water in Hatfield Peverel at about 8.15am.
She got out of the vehicle unaided and unharmed but a working crew attended the incident to make sure she was safe.
