COLCHESTER'S Christmas street fair today will feature a culinary revival.

Mayor Christopher Arnold will throw Colchester Cakes from the town hall balcony at 11am.

A secret recipe, not used for decades, has been used to make the buns.

Twenty buns will have a gold star on top. Whoever finds one can hand it to fair organiser Don Quinn, who will be dressed in red, to receive £5.
