THE finishing touches are being made in preparation for the Secret Vintage Fair, tomorrow.
The event, which will take place in Colchester’s Town Hall, will raise money for St Helena Hospice.
The Gazette is the media partner for the event.
Lucy Craymer, who founded the fair, said: “We’re really excited. It is going to be a great day.
“We’re really looking forward to the mayor opening the event.”
A tribute act to the Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald will take to the stage and burlesque dancers, magicians and bands will also entertain crowds.
More than 50 stalls will be set up in the hall.
The organisers have also put together a vintage calendar for 2014, which will be sold during the fair to raise extra cash for the hospice.
Lucy said: “It’s a new thing for us. We’ve never done a calendar before. We’ve done everything from scratch.
“It is a nice local product and we’re hoping it will sell out.”
The fair will run between 10.30am and 4pm.
Entry costs £3 and accompanied children under ten get in free.
