PRECIOUS jewellery given to a child was stolen during a burglary in Rowhedge.
Detectives were called to Rowhedge Road after a break-in.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "The items taken included a child’s nine carat gold signet ring, a white gold necklace with a pendant that has three prongs sticking out with a diamond at the end of each one, a pair of pearl earrings, and a single silver large drop earring with a amethyst set in it.
"Officers would also like to speak with the driver of a blue 4x4 which was seen in the area at the time of the burglary."
The house was raided between 8.45am and 1.30pm on Thursday, November 14.
