A MAN has denied burgling a house armed with a knife.
Robert Santangelo, 43, allegedly raided the home in Herbert Road, Clacton, on September 8.
Santangelo, of Jackson Road, Clacton, is one of two men accused of bursting into the home after ringing the doorbell.ADVD player, cash, keys and a games controller were taken.
He denied burglary during a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday, and was held in custody until a trial in January.
Dylan Colman, 33, of Field View, St Osyth, admitted aggravated burglary.
He also admitted being in possession of a knuckleduster on September 11, and theft of a wallet at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on March 12.
He will be sentenced after Santangelo’s trial. Lindsey Fogarty, 31, also of Field View, St Osyth, denied possessing a knuckleduster in a public place on September 11, in Herbert Road, and handling stolen goods.
Prosecutors offered no evidence in the case.
