Two in court over Essex robberies

Two men will appear in court today charged with robberies in Essex.
Jake Baker, 19, of Treebeard Copse, South Woodham Ferrers, was wanted by police following a robbery at Ladbrokes in Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers, which happened on September 22.
He has been charged with robbery in connection with that incident as well as one count of robbery over an incident at the Premier Stores in Broadway, Jaywick, last Thursday.
He is charged with the Jaywick robbery alongside Jordan Russell, of Sea Cornflower Way, Jaywick.
Both will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court today.
Cheryl Walford, 23, of Thorpedene Avenue, Hullbridge, has been charged with assisting an offender and released on police bail to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on October 23.
A 41-year-old woman arrested following an operation in Jaywick on Friday, October 4, in which Baker, Russell and Walford were also arrested, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until November 8 in relation to assisting an offender.
