Fashion show raises hundreds for charity

Models took to the catwalk to raise hundreds of pounds at a charity fashion show.
The Wine Centre in Great Horkesley hosted the fundraiser in aid of Matt Townrow, the son of one of their suppliers, who has cerebral palsy.
Matt needs to have a £25,000 operation to prevent him losing the very limited movement he still has.
More than 50 people attended the fundraiser, which was held on September 25, raising almost £400 towards the operation.
Janet Borges, a director at The Wine Centre said: “It was a great evening, the models were absolutely brilliant and there was a real buzz.
“Mike Townrow supplies us with fruit juice and when we heard about his son Matt’s operation we wanted to see if we could help out in some way.
Every little helps and we hope that the money we raised will help the Townrows get that much closer to their £25,000 target.”
