Braintree: Mums raise more than £700 for fire school
12:56pm Sunday 29th September 2013 in News
A big-hearted group of mums raised just over £700 for a burnt down Braintree school.
Victoria Ross, 25, and her friends staged a fete at Weavers Park yesterday to raise funds for John Ray Infant School, which was destroyed by a ferocious blaze on August 31.
Mum-of-four Mrs Ross, of Dickens Close, Braintree, said: “Everyone had fun and there was a lot of happy people."
