A MAN found dead in a Greenstead flat has been named locally.

The man has been named locally as 34-year-old Neil Harvey, of Laing Road, Colchester.
A file will be passed to the coroner who will now look into the circumstances surrounding the death.

A spokesman for Essex Police confirmed: "Police were called to an address in Avon Way, Colchester, shortly before 6pm last night after the body of a man aged in his 30s was found.
"There were no suspicious circumstances.
