Landlady determined to find buyer who will keep her pub as it is
12:00pm Friday 23rd August 2013 in News
The landlady of a village pub who is hoping to sell her lease to travel the world is determined to find a buyer who will carry on her hard work.
Jinjer Adams, 54, has run the Layer Fox in Malting Green, Layer-de-la-Haye, with her daughter Zoe McCutcheon, 30, for four years.
She has now placed the lease on the market, and is looking for someone to take the thriving pub on.
She said: “I want to retire and go travelling. It is time for me to stop.
“We want to sell it to someone who wants to keep it as it is.
“We’re selling it because it is so successful. There is no chance of it being knocked down.
“It is a really good and expanding business. We’re really bucking the trend with so many pubs closing.”
