BUYERS are making Essex a property hot spot with the number of people looking to purchase homes on the rise.
Beresfords have revealed that there are 27% more people registered as looking to buy in Essex than July last year with a 19% increase in the amount of first time buyers.
Managing director Paul Beresford said: “These figures reflect a growing positive sentiment in Essex as a place to live.
“Not only are we seeing a substantial increase in the demand for property, but also the number of offers accepted has increased dramatically, demonstrating that these are serious buyers and sellers.”
The rental market has always been strong in the region due to the amount of commuters who live in a number of towns in the area but Beresfords have seen a 64% annual increase in the number of buy-to-let registrations.
