Stolen special shoes handed in
2:18pm Sunday 11th August 2013 in News
SPECIALLY made boots which were stolen from a two-year-old have been handed in.
The handmade black leather boots, which look like tiny Dr Marten’s, were stolen from Lola Turner outside the main entrance to Colchester General Hospital, in Turner Road on Thursday, August 1.
Lola has club feet and needs the shoes to help her walk.
Lola’s mum, Carli Turner, who lives in Colchester, had appealed for the boots to be returned before they were handed in at Clacton police station this morning by a woman from the area.
Mrs Turner and husband Gary plan to collect the boots as soon as possible.
Police enquiries are continuing.
