Harriet and Harriette elected to bring Colchester's independent shopping quarter to life

TWO young businesswomen have been chosen to help bring Colchester’s independent shopping quarter to life.
Harriet Leggett-Auld, has been elected chairman of the Shops on the Walls, set up to create a ‘Lanes-style’ retail experience similar to that found in Brighton and Norwich.
She will be supported by Harriette Naylor, of nearby Eclettico, who was chosen as deputy chairman.
The pair aim to create greater awareness of the town’s independent traders through the historic route, which runs from Balkerne Gate, along Sir Isaac’s Walk, Trinity Street, Eld Lane, Short Wyre Street and down to Priory Street.
