PUPILS put their enterprise skills to the test as they bid for a catering contract.

Year nine pupils at the Stanway School formed companies and competed to win the deal to feed School Prom events.

Youngsters in year ten prepared for the world of work by meeting more than 20 members of the local business community who put them through their paces by examining their interview skills, CVs, handshake and the way they dressed.

The teenagers also got to put their questions to the experts and find out about a range of careers.
