Trading Standards renew 'no' to legal high call

BUSINESSES selling legal highs are being called upon not to sell them.

Trading Standards and the Drug and Alcohol Action Team is working with Essex Police to contact retailers and ask for their support.

Essex County Council and partners wants to remind businesses of their legal obligation to ensure:

  • Any product they sell is safe and fit for any reasonably foreseeable purpose
  • Unsafe products should not be sold to anyone, regardless of age
  • If they are unable to ensure the products are safe and meet all legal requirements they should stop supplying them immediately.

If anyone is concerned about their own or someone else’s substance misuse then call Choices on 0844 499 1323 or text Choices to 80800.

Good. ban it all.
If you want a legal free high, have a laugh, go for a run, or do something that stimulates your endorphins in your brain.
then it will make you feel better for free!
