COME and have a go if you think you’re hard enough.

That’s the message from chip shop owner Bub Bdesha, who is challenging his customers to tackle his very own Man vs Food challenge.
 

Mr Bdesha, who runs Chris’s Fish Bar, in Church Road, Tiptree, has prepared the monster challenge - a burger made up of:
 

• four quarter pounder burgers in sesame seed buns
• four slices of Monterey Jack cheese
• four rashers of thick cut bacon
• two free range eggs, sliced mushrooms and chopped onions; and
• one portion of thick cut chips
 

Customers will also be given one can of soft drink to wash down the meal.
The meal, which costs £10, must be finished within 30 minutes.
 

If a customer succeeds, their picture will go up on a wall of fame.
 

“We have had a few people come in and say they’re going to have a go, but they haven’t come back ready yet,” said Mr Bdesha.
 

“We’ve gone for the shock factor. It is a mountain of food and I know I wouldn’t be able to finish it but I’m looking forward to seeing people have a go.”
 

The meal is only available by appointment because it takes the whole grill to cook the ingredients.
