House fire in Colchester

A HOUSE was evacuated after a fire broke out.
Fire crews from Colchester were called to St John's Road, Colchester, just after 9.30pm last night.
When they arrived the house was full of smoke and the fire was burning in the lounge.
The residents were all out of the house, safe and well, and crews were able to put out the flames.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
