Cassie's Law used to revoke a driver's licence
3:43pm Wednesday 20th March 2013 in News By Wendy Brading
POLICE have used new powers under Cassie’s Law to revoke a driver’s licence.
Officers acted after a motorist refused to surrender her licence after a crash.
They contacted the DVLA which instantly revoked the licence.
It was the first time Essex Police had used the new procedure brought in as a result of the campaign started following the death of Colchester teenager Cassie McCord.

It's just a shame somebody had to die for a law like this to be put in place.
but if cassie looks down on us all as an angel, then as a angel she is now saving others from her fate.
