Yes because the Job Centre is failing young adults. My friend has found herself a job, after being set up with a false company BY the JC and losing everything. She has found herself a job, notified JC that she would not be in as she was at a job TRAINING DAY and she hasn't been paid. She is now behind on rent, has no food to eat, is ill with worry and cannot even claim JSA again if they don't take her on at the end of the ordeal. The JOBCENTER IS FAILING YOUNG PEOPLE.

No support there at all for the people who are really pulling their finger out! Just because they have got on a training course doesn't mean they are getting paid. Plus, other than the job grant which will take ages to apply for, how is she going to put food on the table for herself. She doesn't go out partying, she doesn't ever treat herself. Her JC money goes on rent (uneligible for housing benefit) and food for herself. No family to rely on. The system is failing people like these who should be supported as they are setting the example.
