Colchester murder appeal to appear on Crimewatch

A SPECIAL report on the murder of Thomas Brittain will appear on Crimewatch tonight.

Police are still appealing for information as they try and find the potentially armed and dangerous Jack Hummerstone who is on the run.


The 18-year-old, from Clerkenwell, London, is one of two suspected of killing the 26-year-old.
 

Mr Brittain was murdered at a flat in Charles House, in Parkside Quarter, Colchester, in the early hours of Saturday, March 9.
 

He was stabbed repeatedly and died at the scene, while staying with a young family at the flats.
 

Andre Vella, 19, of Village Close, Kirby Cross, was named as a suspect and handed himself in at Clacton police station the following Monday.
