In today's Gazette: The 18 month trial of Colchester's traffic revolution has been branded as chaotic.

Drivers reported it taking 30 minutes to drive a matter of metres in rush hour while other motorists ignored the new restrictions completely.

* A quick thinking teenager used an iPhone app to trace burglars who stole £25,000 of goods.

Reece Jode, 23, of Colchester, and Samuel Lorrimer, 23, of London, were tracked after they stole al haul including a Porsche.

* A grieving mother who says her son took his own life after he was tormented at school is urging other children to report bullying.

Shy Keenan, whose son Ayden Olson, 14, was found dead last week, said: "I want the people of Colchester to come forward and tell their stories of bullying at Philip Morant School."

* The detective leading the Thomas Brittain muder hunt has urged a suspect to "do the adult thing" and hand himself in.
