Health bus stops at town hall

The health bus outside Colchester town hall. The health bus outside Colchester town hall.

FREE health checks are on offer to Colchester residents this week - on a specially designed bus.

The double-decker bus is going around the town all week, and can check BMI, blood pressure and other aspects of health.

Experts are also on hand to give advice on how to get and stay healthy.

The initiative is being run by the NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group and ACE community health group, in partnership with Pfizer Limited.

  • The bus will be outside the town hall again tomorrow (Wednesday) and in the Tesco car park, the Hythe, Greenstead Road, on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Good job it's here this week as, assuming it's not licensed as a PCV, next week it would have to be gone by 11am.

I believe there may be age restrictions,
something like 40+ only are eligible.

Good idea to get checked out though, could save your life.
