Interestingly his name was in news last October....

"A man believed to be missing following an assault in Colchester has made contact with police.

Thomas Brittain, 26, was thought to have been attacked in Clarendon Way at about 21:30 BST on Friday.

A police spokesman said witnesses had reported the victim being bundled into a black Ford Mondeo and driven away from the scene.

Mr Brittain contacted police on Saturday afternoon to confirm he was safe and well."
