A WOMAN is to climb Mount Everest in memory of her sister who died from a rare disorder.

Liz Wilkin died, aged 24, from pancreatitis at Colchester General Hospital in November last year.

Sister, Charlotte Wilkin, 27, has vowed to climb 18,000 feet to Everest’s Base Camp to raise money for the critical care unit that looked after her.

She said Liz’s death came as a sudden shock to their family as she paid emotional tribute to her sports fanatic sibling.
