Man bailed after ear bitten off in High Street attack

A TEENAGER suspected of biting off part of another man’s ear has been bailed while investigations continue.

Police were called to Colchester High Street at about 2.50am on Sunday after a 20-year-old had his ear lobe ripped off.

Bouncers and taxi drivers managed to find the parts of the ear before the man was rushed to hospital.

An 18-year-old from Kelvedon was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until April.
