A TEENAGER suspected of biting off part of another man’s ear has been bailed while investigations continue.
Police were called to Colchester High Street at about 2.50am on Sunday after a 20-year-old had his ear lobe ripped off.
Bouncers and taxi drivers managed to find the parts of the ear before the man was rushed to hospital.
An 18-year-old from Kelvedon was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until April.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Gartland at Colchester CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
