Meeting for would-be coast volunteers to take place in Colchester
2:49pm Wednesday 27th February 2013 in News
ANYONE looking to help protect Essex’s coast can find out more about volunteering in Colchester next Monday.
Charity TCV is searching for Coastal Wardens, who organise beach cleans, carry out surveys and help protect the wildlife and habitat of the county’s 350 miles of coastland.
Volunteers are trained in identifying wildlife, map reading, first aid and organising projects.
An information event is taking place in the Quaker Meeting Room in Church Street from 7pm on Monday. To book a place, email e.webb@tcv.org.uk or call 01206 764470.

Maybe somewhere like MICA or the Nottage Institute would have been a better venue.
