In today's Gazette: Dodgy diners rip off restaurant

In today's Gazette: Four dodgy diners guzzled five bottles of Champagne and wine and feasted on a three course meal at Milsom's restaurant in Dedham - before doing a runner.

The thieves' bill of £520 included two bottles of Dom Perignon - and now police are trying to track them down.

Well they would, wouldn't they.

And Israel is not violent in the way when they constantly oppress the Palestinian people.

Israel has stolen land, created new borders and erected massive security walls during the last 45 years. It's no wonder the Arab world despises what has happened in this region. But the American and British Governments sit back and allow it to happen.

Better, they should sit them down at a table, and call the police to come and arrest them.

Not really a helpful comment, but the CCTV in that restaurant is very good! Hopefully someone will know them. More places need quality like that!

The offer of a meal for two as a reward for identifying this group may work!

Yeah the old days.. After 15 pints some of us were so sozzled, we would go in a restaurant order a meal, pay for it...
And sneak out without eating it..
Not that I ever did that...

£520 . No wonder they had it on their toes. Nice bit of publicity for Milsoms! Can't believe they are standing round grinning!

£130 a head including 2 bottles of Dom Perignon seems more than reasonable to me.

If the diners had paid for their meal it would have been them who had been ripped off,

It's not really ripping someone off if they *choose* to eat an expensive restaurant, is it?
