Price review at leisure centres

OVER-SIXTIES and under-16s could be forced to pay more to use Colchester’s leisure centres.

Colchester Council is reviewing the concessions it offers at its Leisure World sites in Colchester, Highwoods and Tiptree.

Customers say any rise in fees above inflation is unfair and goes against aims of the Olympic legacy.

I didn't know Highwoods was a separate place from Colchester.

What a surprise , spend lots of money on a new reception area that is not needed having only just spent money putting in a new shop then get the punters to pay more to pay for it . At the same time still don't address the fundamental cleaning and hygiene issues that are putting people off going
