Undead hordes to descend on Colchester Castle

VISITORS to Colchester’s Castle on April 3 could be frightened by the sights that greet their eyes.

Hordes of dishevelled men and women, wearing torn clothes and crying out for food, will be invading the Norman fortress for the one-off Zombie Castle event.

Billed as the “only UK zombie event in a castle in 2013”, it will take take advantage of an impending £4.2 million redevelopment which is seeing the 152 ft by 112 ft keep emptied.
