Charity boost after auctioneer's hammer falls

AUCTIONEERS handed over a cheque for £3,000 after a series of charity events.
Reeman Dansie raised cash for St Helena Hospice by holding a private viewing and auction, as well as an art exhibition.
Fundraising work continues by the Severalls Business Park auction house, with hopes for more events in the future.
- A valuation day, also in aid of the charity, is being held on Saturday between 10am and 1pm at the Holiday Inn, Abbotts Lane, Eight Ash Green. Valuations cost £2 per item.
