Colchester first aider is cadet of the year

A FIRST aider from Colchester has been selected as cadet of the year.
Rain Welham-Cobb of the Colchester St John Ambulance cadets was selected to represent the South Anglia district, covering Essex.
The 16-year-old will be helped out in his duties by his deputy, Braintree cadet Matthew Harrington-Keeton, 15.
The pair were chosen after they were put to the test, and the competition includes a wide range of subjects such as communication, team work, presentation, the media and social skills.
