A MAN arrested on suspicion of threatening trick or treating children with a gun has been re-bailed.
Armed police were called to Colchester’s Highwoods estate after a group of teenagers said they had been threatened by an armed man who then assaulted them.
A man, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested on Halloween following the alleged incident at about 8.30pm.
He has been re-bailed until next month on suspicion of a number of firearm offences.
