Colchester Council meeting on town centre

A COLCHESTER Council panel is tonight debating how projects aimed at improving the town centre are shaping up.

The meeting will look at how the town's residents, retailers and visitors are faring.

Due to speak are representatives from Williams & Griffin, Essex County Council, Colchester Retail/Business Association, the Castle Neighbourhood Action Panel, Colchester Council's zone teams, and Colchester Institute.

Topics up for discussions are plans to cut traffic in the town centre and the forthcoming independent shop quarter, tentatively titled "The Walls".
