8:00pm Sunday 13th January 2013 in News By Wendy Brading
A GOOD Samaritan who allowed a crash victim to sit in their car ended up having the roof cut off it.
A woman suffered injuries in a car crash in Lodge Road, Little Clacton.
She was allowed to sit in another car but firefighters had to cut the roof off when she developed neck problems.

Simple....Don't let them cut the roof off unless she or the emergency services take full responsibility (in writing) for replacing the car, something they are not likely to agree to.

April.beggs@hotmail.Of course you did the right thing. It is a pity that due to the confusing report some of us have made light of the incident.

My sister had got out of the crashed car before I got the scene and was cold and bruised and was finding it hard to stand up , so all I thought to do was to get her in the warm , so she sat in my car , as her back was hurting the fire crew decided to cut the drivers seat out to free her , they placed her in a board and was lifted out through the boot, I wouldn't change what I did because It was the right thing to do :)
Let's hope that your sister soon recovers and that the pain will not return.
Best wishes to you both.
