4:00pm Saturday 12th January 2013 in News By Wendy Brading
A TROUBLED care home, which closed after concerns were raised over the treatment of residents, is up for sale.
Ashcroft Care Home in Eight Ash Green closed down after a Care Quality Commission inspection found it failed to meet basic standards of care in four out of five key areas.
It is now on the market with a price tag of £850,000.

So it isn't always the carers working in the homes that don't offer the best care, I prided myself on being a good carer, unfortunately my seniors were more interested in tv, coffee and cigarette breaks - hence the reason I walked out and now work privately, hopefully to the standard elderly people deserve
shocking story of neglect of those who needed care the most.
the owners and operators of care homes like the Ashcroft who fail in there required duties of basic care should be fined heavily, as those who permitted the basic care while working within the care home.
